I have been saying for a while that I wished I had 1/10th the talent of authors such as Neil Gaiman or David Weber.  In all honesty I probably have 1/10th their talent.  What I should have been wishing for is their perseverance in finishing a project.

Just a quick update for Gabrielle.  I think I'm close to done with her for now.  The only portion I want to work on is her clothing.  But if Kitsume is any indication that would take me months.  To be honest what I have now is decent.  It's not the spot on, "WOW that's what I described" I got with Kitsume but then Gabrielle's still one chapter off.  Her appearance is not completely set in stone.

Also, for those who noticed it, yes, Gabrielle is using the same shape as Kitsume.  No, it isn't me being chincy with my shapes since clearly with Dragon, Dimitri and Aia I am not using the same shape.  ...  Wait...  I haven't posted something for Dragon yet.  

Muhahahahaaaaa...

Seriously.  Most of my SL design time has been focused on getting Kitsume's outfit juuuuust right.  She's gone through at least 3 incarnations of the main outfit as well as about a dozen "Casual" and "Clubbing" outfits while I've been shopping SL or chatting with the people I've met there.  It's hard to switch from her to my other characters to work on them because she's so well polished.

So here's me putting my foot down.  No more L$ to be spent on Kitsume.  I will focus on Gabrielle or Dimitri next.  In fact I got rid of Gabrielle's horrible boots at the same time I sprung for Kitsume's new skin and boots.

That's progress, right?

Right!?

Certainly not as talented as other dA artists.  That goes double for using Second Life to create characters as opposed to Poser but I do what I can.  Just got done tossing about 10 character designs up on dA.  Still not quite ready to put my prose up for others to see.  But this at least makes me feel like I made progress tonight.  In fact, I had no idea I had so many designs at least at a rough working stage.

Yes, yes, it took this long for me to realize that I could put up the character designs I'm trying to hammer out in Second Life.
